Review - The Habit
New review now online, here’s the summary:
Looking a lot more like a café from its old shop front exterior, The Habit is a welcoming and relaxed venue. With sparse wooden floors, a mock Tudor styled bar, rough cut and mismatched furniture and a great reputation for live acoustic music it has a lot to offer. I can see the angle they’re going for with the décor, kind of kitsch retro, but it’s a little tatty and tired. The toilets belong more to the 19th century than we’d usually like, but with such a small bar they’ve used the space quite well. One of the definite highlights is the Minster view roof terrace, which although small is another great use of space with a very unique view. They have a small selection of beer at an average price, so definitely the place to be if you like a bit of live music with your pint.
