Stunning photo from Ouse Bridge of flooded York by night, you can just make out the Kings Arms with the water lapping at the top of the windows and the Lowther on the left. It’s looking like the peak height has been reached now which was over 5metres above normal levels, would have loved to head into town this weekend to get some snaps but I think we’ll start to see levels dropping now. I hear there’s quite a few pubs and businesses riverside that will still be closed for a few days with the clear up, so if you’re heading into York best to check what’s open first.
