Thomas’s pub in Museum Street to reopen (From York Press)
A CITY-CENTRE pub that was turned into a Mexican restaurant is going back to its former use.
Thomas’s, in Museum Street, York, reopened as Mojito in December 2010, but the move proved unsuccesful. It is now being reverted back into a bar, and will reopen next Thursday.
Another one to add to the review list then, will be interesting to see how it goes under new ownership, the Mexican Restaurant thing was dreadful. Bring in the real ales and spruce the place up, will make a welcome re-addition for York.
