Welcome to Within the Walls, a York Pub Guide & Beer Blog that aims over time to collate and present to you a comprehensive review of all the Pubs and Bars within the City of York's Bar Walls.

We run a no nonsense scoring system with all pubs being marked out of 5 in each category and with a brief summary, see 'Scores Explained' for more.
